I'm playing the original version from the CD-ROM on Mac OS 9.2.2 on a Power Macintosh G4. Any info on how the music is supposed to work or if this is a known issue would be greatly appreciated. There don't seem to be any longplays of the Mac version on YouTube, but ones of the MS-DOS version have the music starting immediately as soon as the player loads into the medical suite. All other sound works fine, and while the ambient soundscape without the music is positively chilling, I would still like to experience that rad soundtrack. I'm about an hour into System Shock and have yet to encounter any BGM.
